Mt Lemmon - need some advice!!

Hey all!  I’m heading through Tucson on a work trip tomorrow.  I’ve got a littke time to climb; I generally climb 5.10/11 sport and ~5.8 trad, although with the typical grading at Mt Lemmon I’m probably leading only up to 5.10 sport.

Anyway, tomorrow I’ve got a half day with a buddy who’s never climbed before.  I’ve got a full trad rack, draws for sport, 80m rope, etc.  What’s he best place to go for a good intro day at the Lemmon?

I’ve only been to Windy Point and the Marching Munchkins areas in the past - was thinking Minchkins could be a good area with some 5.5-6 for him and some harder climbs for me.  I tried to scope Gumby Wall on a previous trip but couldn’t find it - not sure what I did wrong but I ended up just bushwhacking around for a half hour.  Anyway, really looking for some easier grades at a decent temperature.  Sport or Trad.  Suggestions??

Squeezing the Lemmon III has at least two photos and an overview of the Gumby Wall. Good luck.

Appreciate the tips guys!  Ended up at Ridgeline - needed to maximize what little time we had so decided to pass on the longer hike to Primus. Anyway, all went well - he fired up a 5.8+ right out of the gate and we’ve got a new climber in our midst!

See you on the rock ;)
