Smith Rock - Mid / End of March

Planning to be in Smith from 3-17-4/1 and do not have committed partners the entire time.  Would be happy to partner up at any point during those 2+ weeks. Looking to do mostly single pitch sport in the 11+ to 13- range, but am totally fine to partner up with anyone regardless of what you're climbing provided you are a safe / attentive belay.  It seems there's a wide range of grades at most crags at Smith, so I'm sure we'd both finds routes to be psyched on. Will have a rope and draws.

I'll be up there the 18, 19 of March. I have my own gear. I don't think can climb much past 5:9 in that area but I can belay the shit out of some single pitch. I'd like to do Monkeyface if anyone's interested.

I drive by around 3:30 every weekday after work, so I could probably catch you on some badass climb after work. I want to see just how hard chain reaction is.

Awesome. Definitely planning to get on Chain Reaction at some point.

I'm travelling to Bend for work, and I'm looking for a partner on Saturday 3/24, and possibly Sunday 3/25 (depending on work scheduling). You're a bit out of my league, but that's okay with me if it's okay with you. My hardest lead (with some takes) was an 11b at Smith, but I usually stick to 10+ or 11a. I'm also happy to toprope and clean 12s if you lead them.

Let me know

Awesome. I'll likely have a partner on those days, but I'll keep you updated.

Hi all,

I'm in Bend until the end of April and would love to get out and climb at Smith Rock. I, unfortunately, have not climbed for over a year due to a wrist injury, therefore I will probably be starting from the beginning again. I can belay but not lead.

Mid/End of March works well for me, since I'm based in Bend.

Feel free to reach out!

Hello. I am visiting Oregon and looking to climb a day or two in Smith Rock. I will be around from now until Tuesday, March 27. I am experienced (I guide climbing courses for NOLS and am on a SAR team) and looking to climb in the 10 range with a first time new partner. I have personal equipment but no draws or rope since I traveled for a work event. Feel free to message me if you're looking to climb.

Already have a partner for the weekend but may be able to climb Tuesday.

Hi all,

The weather is supposed to be beautiful next weekend Mar 29th - 31st!

If anyone is wanting to climb together, I would happy to start an email group going to ensure coordination. So, reply to this message with your email and we can start planning!

Cheers, Ranjini.
