Hey,

Flying into Geneva July 3rd and back out again August 20.  Looking for partners and camping beta.  I'm an AMGA SPI/CWI, WEMT-B on a long break between semesters of Paramedic school.  Capable climber on sport and trad with a strong background in skiing/snowboarding.  Comfortable in alpine but admittedly my weakest style.  A big reason for this trip is to improve in this area of my climbing.

Any beta or interest in meeting up to climb is appreciated.

Cheers,

John

Hi John, I live in Geneva and would be happy to meet up to climb.  I am an intermediate climber in terms of skill - probably lead 5.6/7 in US grades, WI3 on ice.  Second a grade higher.  I have only been here for about a year, so I am not a great asset for beta, but I am happy to help out if I can. Easiest to get hold of me through email: callumweeks@icloud.com. Cheers, Callum

Hey! I am planning on going to Europe this summer as well specifically France and Italy. I want to climb and backpack and camp and such. The only place I’ve had in mind so far is Mont Blanc. I can lead 5.8 as of right now but I can top rope 5.10 but surely by summer I’ll have made some progress.

Thanks for reaching out y'all.  Definitely psyched on some 5.fun routes.  Long and cruiser trad or sport sounds great to me.  I'm pretty inexperienced on ice, with a few trips out on Colorado ice.  Really digging it though and looking to get some more experience.  Looking to get some good, long hikes in too.  Hopefully we can put some plans together!

Hey Dave,

That sounds like a great place for me.  Looks awesome and would love to spend some time there.  I will not have transportation while I am in Europe so I will continue to do some research on how best to get to the various places I want to go.

John.
