Tim Lutz wrote:Agreed. If you can stand, much less climb, on DMT, you are doing it wrong That was my thought. Even if you could why would you waste such a powerful experience with anything other than just experiencing it. This is all assuming breakthrough doses, which for myself the only worthwhile way to do it.

For anyone else in the same boat...... https://www.vice.com/en_us/article/5gkkpd/dmt-you-cannot-imagine-a-stranger-drug-or-a-stranger-experience-365 I would assume most other people on MP are in the same boat. I can tell you that DMT is a SUPER powerful experience. I have experienced both extremes of it. It can been completely terrifying, 100% elation, or a total lack of self. A breakthrough dose is an immediate come up into an experience something like 10-15 hits of liquid LSD. Luckily you don't have to ride the train for that long.

Has anyone ever climbed on MDMA (ecstasy)? One drug I have never climbed on because I have heard having sex on it makes ever having sex not on it boring... so I kinda didn't want to do the same thing to climbing.

"All of my hardest redpoints have been while intoxicated on marijuana." So all you do is sport climb, I am guessing. Try leading trad while ripped out of your mind. Maybe not the same thrilling experience.

Tim Lutz wrote:#MPgold E is only a bit removed from meth, so climbing on it would probably be fun, but one may run the risk of hugging a tree for a really long time I think E is a totally different high than meth. I’ve taken E for years, and I was one and done w meth. Although E is meth based, it doesn’t have nearly the horrible comedown that meth does. Although, the tree hugging is probably gonna happen, I’d love to hear about the climb! As for now I’ll save the E for the nightlife, non cragging style. As far as climbing goes, I’m a regular herbalist, and maybe a bit of Irish coffee in the morn at the campsite. But, I try and keep it to a minimum at the crag. Having partners that know you’re competent no matter if you have a puff or not is imperative. If your track record is clean, then who gives a shit? In fact, if someone wasn’t cool w it, then chances are the partnership will fizzle. Oh well. Surround yourself with like minded partners, and I’m sure it will never be an issue.

What is the purpose of saying this? Makes you sound very entitled. Sorry, not sorry? Come on. I save the drinking for after. Weenie

You know how when you're high and walk out to the car and you get there and you're like......"Now what did I come out here for?" Then you go back in the house and you're like "Oh yeah! My laptop!" Then you walk back out there to get it going "Laptop, laptop, laptop".....all the way there........ ;) Same thing, except with belay stuff.......like forgetting to catch your biner after poking a bight thru your atc and backing off, or messing up while at the chains..... It's a buzz-kill when your buddy decks beside you........but at least you can burn a fatty while you wait for the SAR........ ;)
