Looking for Physical Therapists in New York City

Hey all,

My much-loved physical therapist just moved, and I'm experiencing some mild elbow pain and twingy-ness following an intense two weeks of indoor cave bouldering.

I've found that finding a good PT in the city is challenging and time-consuming, and would love to narrow down my search through recommendations. Does anyone have a PT that they would recommend? Someone with knowledge or experience with climbing would be great, but not necessary. Mostly just hoping to find someone who at least understands the sport or has an aptitude for diagnosis, manual therapy (massage), and excellent corrective treatment plans.

Location is flexible but ideally Lower Manhattan and Brooklyn areas.

Thanks in advance!

The guys at SPEAR physical therapy helped me a lot when I sprained my ankle. They're located in the Financial District.

I used STAR for a hand injury.  Their OT's and PT's seem to be good.  Located in Midtown East.

Thanks!

Any chance either of you have specific names of people who you recommend?

Hi Sara, did you ever find a good PT in New York?  I'm just coming off of a shoulder surgery (biceps tenodesis) and I'm in the market!

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
