El Potrero Chico 12/17 - Looking for Ride or Info for Travel from San Antonio TX

Hey - Looking to see if anyone is heading to EPC on 12/17 from San Antonio.  Our friend was going to pick us up but it would be a lot easier if we could hitch a ride.  Need 2 spots and happy to help with gas and tolls.  We arrive in San Antonio at 1:30 pm?

If not, what are your thoughts on the greyhound bus for two girls (one speaks Sp.) leaving San Antonio at 6:30 pm and meeting our friend at Moneterrey airport at 1:30 am.  Also, are the roads safe to drive on at night from Monterrey to Hildago?  Last time I was in EPC Magic Ed arranged everything so I was a bit spoiled...
