November 18th Fatality at Sandstone Quarry

Our local news always does a horrible job at reporting these accidents. They are saying it was a hiker but I've heard rumors that it was a climber. Anyone know what happened?

Local news said that it was a 20 year old male hiker. So sad. 

Makes you start to question all reporting when they botch these things. So, hiker or climber? If the former we can just go on about our day then?

I was at the Sandstone Quarry that day, but I was not at the site of the indecent. From what I understand it was a climber, but I wasn't provided any other details. I've kinda been hoping there would have been a more accurate public report by now.
