OR, aka Outdoor Research, is a Seattle based company.  I believe the company Oregon Research primarily focuses on screen printing birds onto shirts and totes.

FYI Footfangs, but most of you know this. Many people have crossed paths with Footfangs in their climbing experience.

Greg Lowe started Lowe Alpine in 1967 selling backpacks.

Greg designed Footfangs back in 1976. He sold them out of the back of his VW bus. He worked with C.A.M.P. of Italy to manufacture Footfangs.(Concezione Articoli Montagna Premana) Greg turned the crampon industry on its head with the radical step-in boot binding design.

Greg eventually got out of the climbing hardware business returning it to CAMP. CAMP stopped production of the Footfang in 2004. 

Current CAMP models (descendant from the FF design?) are the Blade Runner and C14 Automatic.

Greg also started Lowepro (camera gear).

A usable piece of history.

They come with the original instructions and the ISO certificate for CAMP.
