The poor climate control is bad enough, but really, the holds almost never get changed.

And the parking lot is really far away.

And it's open 24 hours but they turn the lights off at night!

Tell me about it! The last crag I went to had no stairs, no autobelays, no restrooms, no vending machines or pro shop, and huge rocks all over at the base of the wall! (On top of all that, I had to bring my own rope!)

Dogs everywhere.  You ever have a crag  dog steal your lunch at the gym? See.

You can climb outside?

The routes outside are waaaay too long and the flooring around the bouldering area should really be replaced.

The routes are also not marked and taped.

Who turned on the sprinkler?!

Plus the route setter didn't even place enough bolts, and a couple routes even required me to place my own gear!!!

They don't have permadraws on 5.9 routes. Thus, no one's there to give you that card that says you're cool.

Sometimes, there are bugs outside, too. Outside is a very challenging environment.

They don't set enough easy, 5.9 jug-hauls on the overhangs.

Hard 5.6 routes aren't usually steep enough, and the angle messes up my victory whips.

Snakes. Frickin' Snakes.

Wait wut? Not the reptile kind...the Human Kind that get to the base before you and then drop rocks on you.

The problem is that theres no wifi. I have to wait to get home to post photos of me climbing. Whats the point of posting if I people don't know the minute I do a thing?

on top of that, the theres no subway stop at the crag. I thought climbers were supposed to be "environmentally conscious", and yet theyre all driving out to the middle of nowhere every weekend.

Also, nobody ever washes the holds. They're usually gross and dirty.

They don't list the name / ratings at the base of the routes unless you are at red river gorge.

I don't like the music at my local crag. They don't play enough 90s hip hop and it's never loud enough. I can sometimes hear my belayer.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
