Howdy folks,

I'm a Smith Rock and Yose loving Oregon climber who is going to be traveling to Nebraska for work April 10th-12th. On my way to Nebraska, I intend on stopping in Vedauwoo to dabble with crack — that I've been training on this last year or so. My intent is to arrive in Voo Friday and stay 'til Sunday, when I'll be heading the rest of the way to Nebraska. I'd love a climbing partner, or general company for my time in Voo. If I don't find anyone, I'll just be rope soloing and bouldering. If this is something that interests you, consider yourself welcome to crash on my couch anytime you're in Portland, Oregon, and consider yourself pre-approved for my help in navigating Smith Rock if you're ever over here.

Thanks,

Steve

Sounds good! What's your experience with Trad and Voo cracks?

I'm not sure if the roads into vedauwoo will be open by then. They were closed until May last year. If so, you can just park at the kiosk and hike in to camp in the dispersed areas. Either way, if the weather's good I'd be down to get out. I have been climbing there pretty regularly three years now so i could probably play an ok tour guide.

Anthony, sounds good! I am in contact with a small group from Northern Colorado as well. If you've got FB, I can add you on there to make the process of getting in contact and staying in contact a little easier?
