Hope they have permission!

Would hate it if the park closed Palisade head to climbing if this person bolted without permission.

Guessing they were anchor bolts for the climb. Not familiar with this spot; are there no trees or big boulders anywhere to wrap for anchors, or decent cracks for placing top rope anchor gear? I know that much of Palisades is pretty much lacking good natural anchors. Do hope it was cleared to place for safety purposes, not just convenience.

Palisade not Palisades. Different places

To clarify, this is Palisade Head in Tettegouche SP.

thanks..missed that location....thought it was a Midwest climbing post to area near here.
