I never knew I was in such a minority.

To be clear, flying a drone in the park is illegal without the proper permit. Having climbed in Eldo for years and as a resident of the town, drones don't bother me as much as some of the other things that go on in the park and what some folks do on the way to the park thru town.
As for gun ownership not really something I worry about, only seen handguns at the cliff in Eldo a few times.....and it wasn't a ranger! The above are obviously my opinions only. As usual now puke.

Nice. I see I've spent too much time on that other climbing website. The majority there IS liberal and DOES abhor guns. Oh well. In that case, it's not an assumption.

Seriously though, trail-building is a benefit? What happened to LNT?

Can we do something about Eldo Creek river noise? Dam it or something during climbing season?

Yes we can, it is called Global Warming. Go climbing now, there is a drought, the creek should be really low. Or you can move to Canada after the election and forge about Eldo. Don't forget to vote today

Can we rebuild the Resort with a Casino too?

Just in case anyone was wondering, B & H just put out their 2016 Best of Drones

Best Quadcopters and Drones of 2016

One of them has a top speed of 124mph... pretty awesome... would really be able to track the climber falling... eh? who doesnt want that new perspective in film?

what a waste of a thread, hats off to the person for taking the drone footage, make sure you get that permit to allow it to fly. Once you get that permit fly as close to the guy who thinks that his screaming across the canyon is appropriate to listen to for the rest of the canyon.

To the OP go pound sand and get a life. lets start complaining about everything and anything so that the outdoors is not fun for anyone except you! Seriously you are the joke here in thinking that something needs to be "epic" to film. maybe if you took a step back you would see that someone clearly enjoys nature 10x more than you and was filming it because of that reason.

You like climbing, this dude like filming, don't hang out with him after and go on with your life after 15 minutes, or continue to be the guy who is blowing blood vessels screaming at a drone...

Ray keep on keeping on and don't stop the filming!

Anyone who does not know that using a drone is inconsiderate to everyone is selfish and clueless. Stop being selfish, do not use drones anywhere where there are people.

Who the hell goes to Eldo seeking solitude and communion with nature? Eldo is a climbing gym with cracks. If you want peace then make the effort to actually seek out backcountry climbing. Eldo's approaches are like 20 minutes, you didnt earn peace and quiet. Put in the extra effort and move your legs or stop complaining

Hate to break it to ya, but liberalism and pro gun rights are not mutually exclusive beliefs.
