Yo Gang! Thanks for hanging in there regarding the late arrival of this book. The boat is due in Oakland June 6, and the books should be released between the 15 - 18th. I'll pick them up the day that I am able to, and ship that day. Thanks for the preorders gang - remember there is a copy of the book in the Yosemite Mtn. Shop, so you can stop by there and take pictures with your phone. Woot! Erik Rockclimbyosemite.com

Yo Gang! Thanks for the continued interest, and for being patient with this book coming in a little late in the season. The books are at the Port of Oakland and we are hoping that they will be released next Friday, June 17th for pickup. So you still have a couple days to get this new book at a screaming deal! Sure - sorry for the delay on the books guys. We are waiting day to day to see when they will be released to the warehouse at the Port of Oakland for pickup. Today they listed our container as being repacked after being inspected. My forwarding agent is still unsure if we will get them this Friday, or not until next Monday. I will keep everyone posted, for sure! If you want to change your shipping address please email me at erik@yosemitebigwall.com Preorder 25% off special ends on in two days on June 15th. Go For It!
Thanks! Erik Rockclimbyosemite.com

Mine just arrived. First impressions: -It's beautifully produced and slick, in keeping with trends for guidebooks to have magazine-level production values, lots of photos and additional context etc. -The approach/descent directions look great - loads of large scale photographs and detailed drawings are likely to be helpful. -There are lots of routes -The topos appear to be somewhere in between the Reid guide and supertopo in their level of precision and detail, maybe more akin to the Reid style (?), but that's just a first impression. Remains to be seen how accurate and easy/hard to follow they are in the field. -Less beta than the supertopo book, by far. no blow by blow. -It gets me stoked to get out there and try some stuff I haven't seen or thought to do before... -Look forward to the app.

One minor thing - the first thing I saw on the inside flap was this - spot the error?

Want to share some props for erik and the new guide that I think is very nicely done. Kind of a cross between the classic picture book "Yosemite Climber" by George Myers and a Super Topo guide that is more current. Lots of great info on some of the more complex descents too that produce a lot of serious drama, great up to date topos of recent developments in addition to the classics. Probably too heavy to take to the base of every route, but a great source of information and inspiration when in camp or at home planning the next objective. GJ erik.
