I was climbing at that spot sunday afternoon / evening with two friends, met my mom and three of her friends out there so I think we ended up dominating the crag lol. I can be pretty obnoxious and silly you can always tell me to shush, but if you need quiet to hear a belayer on a 2 pitch crag don't know what to tell ya... unless you meant that other party of four that got chewed out (lol).

some fun drama, my buddy Jim rescued a pair that had gotten off-route on gram crackers, two women from Mesa Rim showed up and verbally BERATED a couple pair of nice folk for leaving up a top rope, good fun and cringe all round.

Overall it was a 7.13/10 day. Needed more Burch. Flower is still hard...

GDavis where was the top rope and what was their problem with it?

They were on second pitch but needed a bolted anchor for reasons so were trying to traverse to guillitine or ?? dunno I stayed outta that shit and hung out with moms

Jesus you are dense. WE weren't using commands at all, however I am not sure why my partner suddenly thought that I might. I guess I need to be crystal clear next time, no talking ;)

Very Good point. @tradaholic, you can't really blame others on your partner's mistake. If you guys didn't make it clear and how you guys would communicate, then you two are the only ones to blame, at least IMO

My partner and I left this shit show after lunch to find somewhere quieter to climb. We went over to try Insomnia. Needless to say it was baking in the sun and it didn't go well. Then we got called "fuckin' 'doggers" by a guy rope soloing something on the weeping wall. Can't win 'em all...

I take full responsibility for the dogging. I thought I kept the crying quiet though so that others wouldn't have issues with their belay chain.

If you are looking for quiet I would not recommend Suicide North face on a warm day. haha.
