Sprinters

I've seen Sprinters go to complete crap requiring extensive, continuing repairs about a month after they were bought. I would love a Sprinter but it's an exceptional gamble to spend $20k on something with 180k miles, which for most vehicles is the end of its service life. Anything with reasonable miles is so expensive you're better off staying in hotels. |

Running champ. Juss sayin'.... |

I have had a similar experience with mine but mine had about 160K on it. I have proactively maintained so as to not wait for something to fail. The thing has been bullet proof up until now. Of course there is more to a vehicle than a motor and with 150k+ things will start to need attention but I have never heard of a maintained Sprinter breaking down after a month of use. My friend bought o with 375k miles on it and the thing is still a tank. The furthest I have seen an Astro go is about 325K and the thing was limping and that wasn't on the original motor. |

Hopeing to get maybe 220K on my astro but who knows... it could blow up tomorrow..... My dream is a 4x4 sprinter but that is just a dream at this point....... |
