No snow, just get an early start and weather should not be an issue. The approach is not bad, just head left before the hiking trail drops down to Emerald Lake and follow the climbers trail that leads right to the base. Less than an hour on the hiking trail and then maybe another 30 minutes after that.

We went up yesterday and it took us about 5-5 and a half hours car to car - the sun hit us on Better Than Love around 8:30 but it was still chilly! I wore a base layer, a fleece and a hardshell and was good. No snow and no ice - but parts of the route were seepy and wet. This wasn't hard to work around though, so all in all in great condition!

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
