No BD spring swap? What gives?

The spring gear swap at Black Diamond is no more. Apparently they've phased it out in favor of a more dedicated in-store sale? What gives????

We called them today. Not one this season anyway. Super lame - that thing has been an institution in the community and everyone always looks forward to it. I don't know if it is gone forever or what. Anyone know anything more? Did OP mean it's gone for good?
