If you hover over the link "www.clifbar.com" the target is actually 123mountain.com/brands/clif…. I bet you clifbar would not be happy about that. I see a cease and desist letter in their future. These folks simply do not know how to stop themselves.

I'm commenting all over their facebook with the link to this thread. Not sure what good it will do, but it makes me happy.

From the description on their website they make it look like they did some kind of collaboration with Clif Bar to create a product: "123mountain.com and Clifbar.com have come together to create the best in protein enriched bars that are rich in flavor and healthy for all outdoor conditions."

I'm just amazed how some folks literally get away with murder while the rest of us get a ticket for jaywalking.

I just don't get it.

It's called money. When you have a lot of it, the law doesn't apply to you.

Only the ones that broke laws for which there was proof beyond a reasonable doubt... The collapse of 07 wasn't related to or due to people breaking laws... It was due to systemic failure to asses debt/risk. Selling someone a shitty mortgage wasnt illegal, nor was collateralize them into securities, nor was trading them to investors. There were some serious misrepresentation of those products to some investors and for that those companies were fined but, criminal laws requiring mandatory jail time weren't broken to the best of my knowledge.

07 was a failure of govt to regulate risk and of companies to asses it...

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
