Heading to do mainly long multipitch, but a half day of cragging before the flight is possible.. we're bringing thin ropes not ideal for cragging for the main part of our trip. Can we pull it off with a 35m rope so we don't have to slug a full 60/70m rope?

I think all the routes on the main wall there are over 60 feet long.

A 60 meter rope isn't that heavy. If you work out for a few weeks, you should be able to carry it without any problem or medical incidents.

Heh, I'm less worried about myself carrying it, more about Airbus or Boeing (and the resulting fees).

Thanks guys!

Airbus and Boeing are airplane manufacturers, not airlines.
The difference in weight between a 35m and a 60m rope is what, 4 lbs?

"Thin ropes not ideal for cragging". What are you talking about?

If you want to rock climb, use a proper 60m rope for rock climbing.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
