Nikon has some demo videos using their new 360 camera. You can click on the video and move the camera angle around. One is mountain biking, one is rock climbing and the other is kayaking. It is sort of fun but the I already find the GoPro video strapped to climbers really annoying. It's just to jerky and the angles are awful.
The bouldering section looking down was cool though. The mountain biking video was painful to watch. Horrible mounting location.
Do you think this style of filming has a place in rock climbing? What would be the best fit for this style of video?
In all honesty I was expecting a true 360 video like mammut has made but still pretty cool.
Edit* i stand corrected. For some reason it wasn't letting me use the 360 feature but when I watched the video through youtube it worked perfectly and was pretty amazing
