Eddie gave so much to climbing up here, whether you knew him personally as many of us did, or you didn't, he gave a lot to the community here. He will be missed.

We both worked at the gymnastics club climbing wall in the mid to late 90's. Trained a lot, having been mentored by Garvey he's was truly versed in the old ways, he passed some of that knowledge down. I have always thought of him fondly for that.

Quirky (but who in this tribe isn't).

My times meeting Eddie were at Cassel rock too. He showed me the pivot point traverse a year or two later. Alaska had a rough year, too many losses to this tight knit community.
