Looking for a Place to stay, Ouray, Colorado. Dec, 27- Jan16.

Hello! I am looking for a place to stay from Dec27 to January 16. I am an ice climber and skier and I am planning on climbing over my college winter break and getting in shape. I am open to a month rental, house sitting or crashing on a couch and washing dishes in return. Anything works and i am really flexible with dates and living accommodations. Its 48-68 bucks a night at Riverside Inn for a primitive cabin with heat. Its where i stay when i go there. Might be cheaper per night since you are staying so long.

Give the Columbus Hotel a call. around $200/week. Not the fanciest accommodations but it does the job.

Join the IcePark for $40 and you'll get 20% discount at the Riverside. Too, call Bill Leo at the mountain shop there in Ouray and ask him what might be available. I'd be amazed if nobody had a couch, house, spare room or something you could barter for. Like every other little town, it has a grapevine and bulletin boards all over town. My cabin is literally a 5 minute walk from the ice park. I have a spare room I can rent. I have a washer and dryer in the unit and a kitchen you can use. I won't charge you anything for the utilities and have high speed internet as well. We can work out a nightly or weekly rate. My number is 720-434-3864. Here are some pics:

If you are driving from FC (will have a car...) I'm a bit north of Ridgway in a big house with lots of room, or a heated garage if you are not house broken.
Or there is Camping in the back yard if you want that option.
If you want to have bonfires and sacrifice a goat in a pagan ritual or something, there is BLM land behind the property.

No cigarettes please, all else is kosher with the management. Oh, no crampons indoors...
But that's about it for rules.

I'd trade for a little work around the place, a gram/day, pitch in with dinner, top shelf microbrew, couch time in Ft C, some epic tales of alpine sufferage... Or money works too if you need to get rid of some.
