Smugglers Notch Camping

Anyone know if you're allowed to camp or leave your car at Smuggs up by where the boulders are located?

Haven't done it in a while but used to be fine to leave your car there, would be surprised if you can't now.
We used to renegade camp under some of the secret boulders high up but you can also hike up to Sterling Pond for a great spot.
