New River Gorge -meadow River

Over Memorial Day weekend I saw a fire truck and EMS vehicle by meadow river parking area. Anyone have any news on this?

Leader fall at Zero buttress, busted ankle from a hard catch, otherwise climber was fine. They got her out on a litter and onto an ATV. I was climbing at First Buttress when it happened, they passed by us getting her out. 6ish paramedics came up the hill pretty out of breath.

What day was it? I was at Zero Butress on Sunday but we left around 3:30PM or so. There was still a huge crowd there.

What I mentioned all went down Saturday afternoon.

OK. Do you know which route? It would be pretty easy to bust an ankle on some of the easier ones as they are less then vertical with plenty of stuff to catch a foot on.
