Sounds like he should have done it last year when the whole falls froze over... Anyone have any idea what the Black Diamond 'prototype' ice hook is? My guess is a new form of protection where you don't have enough ice depth to place a screw? |

He has a small black picket looking device on his right side. This device seems to have a honeycomb style of matrix, not sure if this is the proto? |
