Is there any way to lube them for easier screwing potential? So they are less "sticky" Lube the inside as well?...with what? I have sharpened them and taken all the burrs off and they go in.......but not as easy as i remember when they were new...back in 1997!

I use this guy's method. Super sharp results, but it isn't quick your first time.

I then wipe everything down with a Tuf Cloth to protect and lubricate.

It's clean, easy, and effective.

It's possible that one or more of the teeth a slightly bent inward. This eliminates the taper on the outside [ slightly larger OD. @ the tooth] and makes them hard or impossible to screw in.

Look straight down the bore from the hanger end. If you can see a tooth tip, its bent.
