hoodies? Coefficient?

Was thinking I'd like a light fleecy kind of hoody to wear through the fall here in the gunks. I'd bring a separate rain jacket if rain were expected.

The BD Coefficient seems pretty good...folks like it? The missus suggests I get the Patagonia Nano-Air but that seems like a criminal amount of money ($300)to spend on something like this...

You don't even have to get children in Vietnam to sew it for you….made right here in Pb. But if spending $69.00 instead of $300 is gonna put the hurt on your self-concept I'd go with the BD or Patagucci.

Never been to the Gunks, but this NW Alpine Black Spider Hoody is my go to "light fleecy kind of hoody"

Check out The mountain hardwear desna hoodie. It works perfectly for me. I'm amazed with its breathability and warmth. Doesn't seem to block much wind though.

I ran across some mentions of the Patagonia Piton Hoody...looks like a very similar weight to the R1, but more windproof...does anyone have experience with the Piton?
