Miura Lace versus Miura VS sizing?

I'm in the market for some new shoes as my Evolv Talon's have aggravated my heel and caused some bursitis. I recently tried on the Miura VS at REI but they didn't have the lace-ups. I feel like the lace-ups would probably give me a tighter fit around the top of my foot and also allow for more adjusting (I'm pretty sure my left foot is bigger than my right). Anyway, just curious if I should expect to wear the same size in the lace-ups as I did in the VS. Thanks!

Mine are the same size. IMO they both fit my foot well, but most people have told me they fit one or the other, but not both.

Go for the laceups...the velcro shoes SUCK at toe hooking!

I have both in the same size. I feel like I could go a half-size to a size smaller in the VS though. Also, the VS do feel pretty loose around ankles. Lace-ups would give you a nicer "like a glove" fit. If you have narrow feet, check out the women's version - there is extra padding around the heel and the tongue (I'm not a huge fan of as I feel like it takes away some sensitivity, but it may help relieving some of your heel pain).

when I bought them I recall the common trend on bc.com was to go half size down with the VS.

also, the VS is a totally different shoe than the lace up. much more support and less sensitivity like the lace up. I prefer the lace up's
