Black Canyon season is upon US!

I'm really excited about the up and coming Alpine season in the Black! Lets do this! I'm looking for a competent partner who wants to take down some serious routes. My hit list includes, stoned oven, flakes, triology, and Colorado welcome party. There are other routes on my mind and I can be flexible. The black is for adults only, if you are looking for friendly cragging there is no need to respond. If you are learning to trad climb or just trying to get your wings flapping in the black, please do not respond. I would prefer a partner in the Southwest area, but I don't really care that much. Alright people, get your game face on!

I don't think you sound like a butthole like that other dude said. I completely understand that you don't want to end up 1,500 feet off the ground with someone who cannot make it out of the canyon. I plan on going to the Black a few times this spring and fall. I am a little hesitant on doing Stoned Oven, however I was looking at Air Voyage and El Padre. I've climbed Crystal Vision, Checkerboard, Journeys Home and No Country for Old Men. All of these routes were just awesome! If you are down to do those two, plus Atlantis has been staring me in the face :-). Let me know! I have a couple other dude friends who are amazing climbers and have done plenty of routes in the Black so you'd be welcome to come or meet us there. We're from the Ned and Buena Vista area. Keep in touch and let's all CLIMB THE BLACK!! WOOHOO!!

Tiff thanks for the response. I have been getting e-mails from people who are psyched for the black and you so far have gotten me the most psyched. I have done a handful of trade routes in the black, I'm down for any of those climbs. I would totally go do el padre or atlantis, that is in my experience level and onsight capability in the black. Now Air voyage is a different story. I don't think I have ever onsighted a 12- off width, if we have the right gear we could aid the crack or we could just go up there and give it hell. Shit, why not? Lets do it. The road is closed till the end of the month or the beginning of april. I'm pretty much stalking the ranger station until I hear the road is open. I'll send you pm. There are a couple of moderate trade routes I still need to do. I'll list them in my pm and continue to let people in Britain assume that I need a tutor on this page.

USBRIT, to just clear things up for you. I like sport climbing it really fun. You should try it sometime.
