Michigan Ice Fest Jan 30- Feb 2nd 2014

If your on the fence on whether or not to come to Ice Fest.....the ice is a good as its been in decades!

Think someone posted to climbingcentral that they did a first lead on HMR ice this past week or so. Anybody have details or pics?

Aerial Vantage Productions was out filming an upcoming movie of the climbing in the area. Here is just one shot taken from the last 4 days of filming. It is of Adam Daily climbing HMR a few days ago.

How tall is that thing Jon? Over 120' lead? Looks pretty impressive, but hate the brown color,,/;-)

Woodchuck, It is about 45-50 meters from the lake to the top. I personally LOVE the brown color. There are so many rich colors in the ice out there from white, to blues, to browns. It's a fun medium.
