Shelf Road Hut / Cactus Cliff Yurt

Kirk, did BLM out the road in better condition than it was in before the storm? We are working on choosing a weekend!

I haven't been down there to inspect but from the pics I've seen it looks pretty good.
I will be there later this week, through the weekend and will post up on conditions here after I get back.

anyone know how Shelf is now? trying to climb sat-sun.

Shelf was stellar last weekend with perfect temps. to climb in the sun. Sure feels good to soak in the hot tub after climbing.
In the middle of nowhere, under the stars. What an amazing way to finish the day.

We're right up the road on the mesa above Cactus Cliff, Spiny, and The Gym.
Private access to the original Cactus Cliff parking for a relatively painless, early start.
Pretty cozy for sure once the sun goes down.

Oh man! So tempting. Is the yurt two beds?

We have a futon bed for two and two 3 inch thick, single bed floor mattresses. Check the photos posted on this thread; there's also a table, 4 chairs, recliner, etc. The yurt has over 300 square feet so there's ample room to stretch out.

We're selling our 39 acre lot above Cactus Cliff.  There's a deep well with good water, a yurt, a bomb-proof storage shed, and an outhouse. Walking distance to Cactus, The Bank, Cash Wall, etc.  Would love to see it go to climbers!  

 Shelf season soon!  Who wants to make us an offer...

Any Chance you want to sell access to the road/the parking up there? I'd pay a monthly fee in season so I didn't have to hike my lazy ass over there on days when I've only got a couple hours to get out. Could be a selling point for the next guy.
