Probably the same punks (or related to) the ones who keep breaking into cars in the canyon. Seriously, do these people have nothing better to do? |

There's also some just a ways below Kermit's, facing up hill, but its just a black pentagle like animal sacrifice thingy. |

Pick a day. |

I'd show up for a cleanup. Just pick a day. |
I'll also come bust ass cleaning graffiti (again) for a chance at some zac bbq |

That one below Kermits is way spooky, at least it's almost impossible to find unless you're stumbling around. |
How about this Wednesday (9/11/13) evening for a clean up? I can be there anytime after 5pm. |
Prior engagements for me wed and fri nite, but I can do thurs nite and any time fri daytime, sat, sun.. |

im pretty sure that the graffiti below kermits wad has already been removed. |
Woodson, we have very opposite schedules. I think I'll just have to go do a bit of scrubbing tomorrow, with or without help. I'm happy to do so. |
I could be up for cleaning I am pretty open if people pick a time |

Dallen, |

I'd like to help as well. I've never participated in a cleanup and am unsure what materials I should bring. Also, where on the Pentapitch approach is the graffiti? I can be there at 5:30 |
My wife and I have elbow grease in abundance to help as well, we'll try to join tomorrow. Looks like it's pretty early in the approach before you reach the scree field. |

I don't want to take off more than is necessary, but don't know what it takes to remove spray paint. I'll bring a small sampling of wire brushes from a soft brass one to bbq scrubbers. |

Wire brushes are what it will take to get that off. When I have helped before we even resorted to sandblasting...i will be there tonight with some brushes. |

Hi all - while elbow grease and wire brushes may have an effect they are far from effective. We have tested several techniques here in CT for adopt-a-crags(Access Fund and Ragged Mountain Foundation) and by FAR the best and only real solution to graffiti removal is a product called Taginator. It takes about 10-15 minutes to dissolve the graffiti and a powerwasher or some water and a scrub brush almost effortlessly removes graffiti. If there are many layers it may take more treatments. |
