I thought climbing partners were supposed to keep each other safe, and yet you let him go and get MARRIED!? Seriously irresponsible. ;-)

If she was not a climber, what you said would be true, we would be harming our climbing time. I think this is a unique case where it will work out just fine :)

+1 As someone engaged to a climber, I can vouch for the proposition that, not only is it ok to get married to another climber, it's actually totally imperative. Once you find a good girl (or guy) who is into climbing as much as you are, you have to "lock that down," as they say.

Nice work, and congrats to your buddy.
