Still looking for Apartment/House to rent

So I decided that going ahead and getting a long term lease would be better than subleasing a room. Does anyone have any connections in the Boulder/Lafayette/Broomfield/Denver/Louisville/etc. area to someone that owns an apartment or townhome/house that would be willing to rent for less than $1000 a month? Looking for either a 1 bed with loft/den/basement or 2 bed unit. I've been having a lot of trouble finding something that isn't pretty run down. And since I can't visit before leasing...I could use some help from the locals.
