Haven't climbed much in big cottonwood. Wondering if someone could point me in the direction of an area up there that might be dry and in the sun in the late afternoon and evening.

S-Curves get cooked all day.

Surprisingly, the areas with aqua or aque in the name might be dry and sunny.

Bumble Bee wall as well as those mentioned above.

The choss garden is another option. It gets afternoon sun and is better than the name implies.

The bumble bee wall gets afternoon shade in the summer, so I assume that it will be in the shade in the spring. But it is probably dry.

The challenge buttress's west face may get sun in the afternoon.

I'll second s-curves. I just got back from there about ten minutes ago and the weather is perfect! Plenty of good sport climbing up there

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
