Creek Pasture at IC closed?

I just heard a rumor that the Creek Pasture CG is closed for renovation. Can anyone confirm or deny?

friends of indian creek has the closing listed from 3-10 to 3-22 for construction, possibly later...

So have they started charging there now?

The word on the street is they will be charging after easter weekend...

There is construction in the area but the flow is undisturbed. Drink up!

Back on topic: I went to Indian Creek Monday-Thursday and experienced some of the craziest weather in all my time there. Windy, dusty, rapid onset of vertically developing cumulus into cumulus congestus and then they just disappeared! Neat to see...

Okay now really back on topic: Creek Pasture was indeed closed. Should have opened today though. No fee yet. Also, I believe there was some talk about an off-highway vehicle trail being routed near that campground... Perhaps the development and implementation of fees will be primarily targeted at the obese Caucasian demographic who likes to drive ATVs in the sand?
