I am going to be in IC for the next week and I am looking to hit up some of the classics. I am down for whatever type of climbing, 5.10-.12a. I will provide beers and all the cams I have!

You do realize that it's like being on the surface of the sun in Moab this time of year, right? The Creek is even hotter. Especially this year!

I was up there today in direct sunlight and it wasent that bad. Sure, I needed chalk for every single move, but its doable.

Chalk? But, its crack climbing!

Leave the red rock red.

I C is awesome early/late summer. Hit the shady walls. I love it. The only thing that is tough is the approach in the heat, but hey no biggie.

Personally I never even go there until April. Any earlier is too cold.

Yes they do. But, between tape on the hands and the dusty, porous nature of desert rock I do my best to go without chalk. Chalk leaves quite a visual impact.

IC has lots of shady walls. Climbing in the sun at all would be brutal and not recomended. Besides, its not often you can hit up the less traved walls (shady) because most of the time your looking for sun March-mid May and Sept-Nov when most people are there. Have fun, you will have the place almost to yourself!

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
