the krustyledge design

hey guys just wondering what your thoughts are about home made portaledges and especially the krustyledge featured on rockclimbing.com?

is using PVC a little to weak for strength of a portaledge? or is it totally safe and im just being paranoid?

does anyone have any good designs they are willing to share or photos of their ledges?

I'm in the process of building one right now. It's been an ongoing project that's been interupted many times.
