I have recently moved to Missoula. With winter coming around the corner I was wondering if anyone could tell me some good peaks or ranges near by for mountaineering. Nothing to crazy, I am have spent much of my life on ice and snow but, I'm fairly new to vertical ice climbing and have limited glacial travel experience. thanks for the help.

Trapper Peak is close and great! If you can make it over to Granite Peak that is quite the climb. If you need anymore info on the climbing etc. feel free to PM me
