I am free starting in mid November and am going on a trip for an indefinite period of time. I am looking for partners that don't use. I am newly sober and want to keep it that way. J-Tree,Moab,Arizona or wherever its warm enough, let me know.

there may be no climbers who fit that category, except maybe from Utah.
But seriously, congrats and best of luck. Climbing will help set you free again.

Would be willing except live too far away. I don't drink and climb a lot, so I'm sure you'll find a partner up there. Keep it up! You're on a good path.

Thank god, I thought you were talking about giving up caffeine.

Didn't think of it, but like everyone else has mentioned, Phoenix Multi is a great org.
I have climbed w/ some of the Phoenix guys, super cool group.

Not able to do any long trips, but living in SW Utah and more than happy to get away for a day or two to Zion, Red Rock Canyon, or St. George. Happy to climb whenever.

Quite un-true.

You'll get a lot more climbing in now.
Strong work, hit me up if ever in Tahoe.

+1 for phoenix multisport if there was one near you. I have been sober for about nine months now and am loving it. Feel like a million bucks. We climb year round here in Colorado come on down! And bring your skis/snowboard and do some climb/pow days.

If you are ever around Tahoe I would love to meet another sober climbing partner! If you are ever in the vicinity let me know. aufruhrstadt at hotmail dot com

+2 on Phoenix Multisport. Great non profit that facilitates climbing and other outdoor activities for people who choose to live a sober lifestyle. Members include people who have never climbed before to people who travel the world to climb alpine routes. Check it out phoenixmultisport.org . Don't think that because we are only in Colorado we don't get around. Myself and a small group will be in Moab and Arizona in the coming month in a half!

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
