Lone Peak - Rescue my cam? Trade for beer?

We got a BD#1 stuck in the first pitch of the Lowe Route in Lone Peak. If you happen to get it out and want to carry it down and track me down, I'll give you good karma and beer/cash...

Not a big deal, but I figured it was worth a post. If you really think you want to keep it since you did do all the work getting it out and hiking it down, I can't blame you. Would a hug make you change your mind?

Cheers,
Kevin

I'm heading up there this weekend (Thursday and Friday). If I see your Cam ALOT - I will bring it back to you. I know the wraith that is the climbing gods and the bad juju that comes from taking people's shit.

This is all dependent upon if my partner doesn't flake!

Please post conditions report on your return.

Water? Snow? etc.

Kai,

Just did a LPC trip this weekend. Still plenty of snow, therefore enough water to last for a while longer. Weather was nice, 70's 80's. A storm blew in Saturday night, but was no big deal. Now is a great time to get your climb on up there.

Was up there last week, plenty of snow, running water at the top, plenty of mosquitos when there was no wind, plenty of wind most of the time to keep the mosquitos at bay.

Also there was water at the campground midway up the trail at the little meadow/campground (Jacob's Ladder trail).

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
