just to keep (historical) record in proper order (and clarity)..

Paul Dief -you are not- the Queen Creek Coalition and thus cannot speak on their behalf. The name that your group recently extorted (via pro-bono'lawyers suing a fellow climber) allows you to refer to your group as "Queen Creek Coalition, Incorporated." --nothing more (or less)

disclaimer: Queen Creek Coalition, Inc. is not related (except alias.corp.name) to the group formerly know as the "Queen Creek Coalition"

The voice of the 'Queen Creek Coalition' was heard in Washington D.C. for several years. It supported & represented the entire climbing community with help from the Access Fund (ur current private t*party does nothin o'the kind)

..and it continues to stand for CURRENT AND CONTINUED CLIMBING ACCESS of the Oak Flat & Queen Creek areas. They can be found at Concerned Climbers Arizona
-thank you

As a nonprofit corporation, Queen Creek Coalition does not need to have, and does not have, “Inc.” in its name. The names and marks “Queen Creek Coalition” and “the Queen Creek Coalition” are the exclusive property of Queen Creek Coalition. No other person or entity has the right to use the name “Queen Creek Coalition” and doing so without the express permission of Queen Creek Coalition is unlawful.

It is true that Queen Creek Coalition formerly was an unincorporated association of ten people. At the time we felt there was no need to create a formal entity. The minority of four who left the Queen Creek Coalition in 2010 and who later formed Concerned Climbers of Arizona, LLC did not take the name with them. They made quite a show of abandoning our group and its name and creating for themselves another identity, the “Concerned Climbers.”

One of the four, Fred AmRhein, refused to turn over the group’s domain names and Queen Creek Coalition had to sue to regain control of its own website. Fred’s attempt to exercise dominion over group property demonstrated that creation of a formal entity would be prudent. Queen Creek Coalition continues to exist and function as it had before the departure of the four dissenters; it merely adopted a formal structure and therefore has been a continuous entity operating under its original name.

funny how personal urges for *power* plays tricks with a subjective mind.. and Yes, you DO need to use the "Inc." -being a non-profit makes no difference in the matter regardles of what your free-legal team tells you. You cannot and will never change history

The Queen Creek Coalition, as was created --no longer exists, you are QCC Inc., Corp., etc. -get used to it

Paul dear, I was present for the last public meeting of the Queen Creek Coalition when you took the informal straw votes of the climbing community present.. votes that didn't go the way you wanted them to. So you then deceitfully had Erik Filsinger registered the name without telling anyone else in the group -then you kicked everyone out, so nice of you ~how could you forget such details

details of dramafest last june --mp.com thread

What you did is nothing short of back-stabing *mutiny* to the climbing community and to others who once were your allies when this group was first formed. There is no doubt you would have lost in a court of law if all original members testified under oath. Curt, Fred and others have their own individual reasons for allowing you to do this, none of which you should rest ur laurels upon

Do you mean when the four were voted out and the original mission statement was then changed? (Against the advisement of the Access Fund, who suggested you work through any issues and not call anything to a vote for the sake of the community.)

Call today to stop the Oak Flat land exchange bill

The House Natural Resource Committee will be voting tomorrow, Wednesday, July 13th, on H.R, 1904, the Oak Flat land exchange bill.

Please call Members of the House Natural Resources Commitee today!

This bill is not only an unnecessary piece of special interest legislation that would severely impact precious water, natural resources, and religious freedom, but also would abrogate our nation’s environmental laws and short-circuit the normal process for approving mines on public land.

Please call the House office and ask to talk to the legislative assistant that works on Natural Resource committee issues for the Congressperson.

The receptionist will ask what you are calling about, what your name is, and what (if any) group you represent. Tell them that the call is about H. R 1904, the Oak Flat land exchange bill.

You probably will be told by the receptionist that the person that you want to talk with is busy. Ask to leave a voice mail. (You might also want to follow up with an email.)

In either case, leave your name and telephone number. Tell the staffer that you that you oppose H. R. 1904 and pick a couple of the following reasons:

We want to know exactly what the consequences of a mine at Oak Flat would be BEFORE any land exchange is approved.
The land exchange will do more harm than good for Superior.
We can’t afford to lose Oak Flat Campground and the resulting tourism industry that the mine would destroy.
Water is more precious than copper.
We don’t want to give our valuable public resources to a foreign company.
NEPA studies must be done up front.
Add your own short reason.

Make sure that you ask the Congressperson to oppose H. R 1904 and ask them if they have any questions. If they ask you a question you don’t know the answer to, tell them that you don’t know, but that you’ll find out and get back to them Don’t make something up. Get in touch with us and we’ll find out the answer for you. Thank them for taking the time to talk with you (of you reach someone in person). Please make sure you get back to the office if they asked a question you couldn’t answer.

Thanks for clearing that up Greg.

I stand corrected...

...to change the mission statement, eh?

It's too bad
