Good Hangboard?

Just moved into a place where I can throw up a hangboard...finally. Was using Metolius Rock Rings slung around random objects for the last year, which are great in a pinch but looking for something more.

Anyone have a particular favorite?

I've had a few over the years. I've found that the ones built in an arc fasion were easier on my wrist. Ex: Nicros Warrior.

if your gonna do it, do it right, get a metolius.

Personally I like the Iron Palm hangboard by Cryptochild. It has slopers, pinches, jugs and two different crimps.

The Metolius Stimulator is a great all-arounder

This is probably true if you are using the board for pull ups and two handed hangs. However if you intend to use it for one handed hangs I would think a board with the holds on a horizontal plane would be better.

I prefer to make one, something along the lines of the rigs here:

Really though, it's more about how you use it than what you use.

The stimulator has a jug and a line of pockets in the middle for one handed exercises. The holds also aren't THAT arched. I can hang one handed off the side jugs without an issue.

Thanks for the comments, and to Will for providing the link - I knew there had to be past discussion on the issue
