What in the hell is a Snipe?

From: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snipe

A snipe is any of about 25 wading bird species in three genera in the family Scolopacidae. They are characterized by a very long, slender bill and cryptic plumage. The Gallinago snipes have a nearly worldwide distribution, the Lymnocryptes Jack Snipe is restricted to Asia and Europe and the Coenocorypha snipes are found only in the Outlying Islands of New Zealand. The three species of painted snipe are not closely related to the typical snipes, and are placed in their own family, the Rostratulidae.

Great Question - To Snipe refers the the process of acquiring goods or services at less then face value. The site cleansnipe.com represents the best on-line deals for outdoor gear. Thus to Snipe would be to acquire outdoor gear at less then face value. The contest title "How Do You Snipe" implies that we want to see how you are using the gear you got such a great deal on.

If you are submitting a photo of yourself using outdoor gear, who wins? The photographer or the model?

I'm confused. Should I be submitting a photo of me, or taken by me?

First off

I would take whippers all day on that placement. Totally bomber. Enter your photo into the contest here - cleansnipe.com/contests/How…

Second - The winner will be the person submitting the photo - The picture does not have to be of you but does need to highlight using some outdoor gear. If you wanted to submit a photo you took of someone else getting rad you can do that and we will leave it up to you and your karma if you win.

The person who took the photo holds the copyright; special circumstances aside, the photographer should be entitled to the plunder.
