In the mood to purchase some locking carabiners. I'm mostly curious as to the actual size comparison between the BD Positron screwgate, and the CAMP Orbit Screwlock I can't seem to find an actual size measurement on the BD... anyone know? I don't need specifics, but if you have both, are they close in size?

I have some Positrons I can measure for ya. FWIW, they sit on the shelf. I've gone light, WC Neon, BD Vaporlock, and DMM Phantom. Actually, I'll sell you some P-tron lockers if you like the measurements.

If you're interested in lightweight biners, I have a couple BD Vaporlocks (nice and big, good for belaying, an anchor masterpoint, etc) and a couple Trango Superflys (lightest locker on the market I think) that I'm willing to sell. They are all brand new never used. I think I have 2 vaporlocks and about 3-4 Superflys I can sell. And if you're looking to save some dough I've got a whole stack of Omega Pacific ISO D lockers I'll sell for cheap. They're in great shape, I just haven't used them in a while. Jump on Jon's Vaporlocks! They are the reason I don't carry Positrons anymore - less weight, bigger gate, and much wider so they can be used to Munter, hold a bunch of cloves, etc. P-trons are now beater 'biners for TR setups and the like. Neons are small, like an OZ locker. But, they weigh less than most wiregate non-lockers! I carry 5 and use them like non-lockers, so I have extra lockers in a pinch. The Superfly is basically identical to the Neon in size and weight. It's a notch-nose, though, while the Neon is a keylock. The DMM Phantom is similar as well - it has a smaller gate opening but is much stronger. Being a gram weenie pays off on 'biners, especially when you have a big trad rack or aid rack with 50-100 'biners.
Positron: Gate: 18.7mm Length: 100mm Width: 61.5mm
Vaporlock: Gate: 20.6mm Length: 100mm Width: 68.2mm
Neon: Gate: 16.8mm Length: 94.7mm Width: 56.4mm Neon, Positron, Vaporlock, Rocklock Hotwire, OZ, Nano 23 Hope this helps!
