Skipped the stuperbowl and went toa BBQ at the top of the second pitch of the Great White Icicle in salt lake. They hauled a full size grill, meat, veggies and a LOT of beer up for an helluva party.

Football is a "ONE" ball sport. I'm going to the BRC and gonna skip some clips on a 5.10. That takes "TWO" balls, right?

What's a Super Bowl. Like Manny I thought it was a camping spot in IC. Unfortunately I'm sick as a dog so I had to bail on climbing. Personally I'm too ADD (ok, I guess its now called ADHD) to actually sit down and watch someone else play sports for an hour.....

Working...lame. But if I wasn't working I would be in Hyalite canyon (or California Ice if it would stop snowing), and I wouldn't have been on Mountain Project to know that there was a super bowl.

The funny part is I ended up watching part of the second half and most of the second.... Despite not knowing who was actually in the bowl till the day of, it was a pretty good game.

Maybe you will do both? or maybe do something completely different. I just wondering ... I was breaking boulders in pieces, Then my finger tips got sore. Then we went to Bojangles. Botatoe rounds are the jam. Got home saw the game passed out from the cookies. Good day here.

Both. Climbed a few pitches in the fabulous Potrero Chico then drove the 2 miles home and enjoyed the game.

I am too poor for organic food though (although it is actually pretty cheap here in England) and my idea of "vintage" is probably better described as used. Add in that I don't do politics or caffeine and I think I'm only about 47% hipster. One of my friends insists that I'm "yippie" because I have a cellphone and laptop but I live in my truck, rarely shower and eat sardines and mac'n'cheese.

You're holier because you climb harder (but that's not because I watch professional football once a year).

Adam Stackhouse wrote: I ran into a few folk last week who had to make it a point to find something else to do, almost like it was cool not to watch the game Well that's down right unAmerican. I could care less what other people do with their free time. I could care less about football and most other team sports. I think it would be funny to see what kind of response this question would have on say a craigslist forum. Most likely any one who hasn't been planning on watching the big game would be called out as being either gay or unAmerican or both. Not being interested in television in general as well as pro sports, is just another aspect of being a climber, in that non climbers just don't get us. Not that there is anything wrong with a climber choosing to watch TV or pro sports. Oh and you left out the fixed gear bicycle a major aspect of the hipster lifestyle. At least it seems that way here in Tucson. I heard it was a good game though and I did end up seeing the end of the fist half. Only because I went to the in laws for dinner. Sometimes the halftime show is good I actually watched it for The Who (what ever year that was, they looked old and tired but it was cool to see). But once the Black Eyed Peas started we shut the TV off.
