I prefer to climb trad, but am down for the occasional sport route or boulder problem. I'd like to be able to take some trips when the weather warms up a bit, but for now I'm looking for someone to train in the the gym with about once a week. I'm mostly availabe in the mornings and on the weekends and would like to climb at one of the gyms in SLC since there aren't any where I live in Ogden.

Also, I'm interestd in getting into aid/big wall climbing, so if you have any experience in that I'd love to learn.

There is a really nice new gym in Ogden The Front I would be up for climbing on the weekends there if you are interested.

There are actually three climbing "gyms" in Ogden, with The Front being far and away the best:

The Front
Weber Rocks (Weber State University)
Irock (for your kid's birthday)

Excellent info! The only place to climb I had found was Irock... and I don't really consider that a gym. Is the public allowed to climb at Weber, so do you need to be a student?

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
