Why are the foothills and mountains west of Boulder all of a sudden fogged out, with a very distinct line drawn north to south, with a bulge out over Chautauqua and surrounding areas? WTF

Pretty funny, looks like there latest series of aerial photos happened during a snow storm. You would think they would QA that stuff before they use it. But they are watching you.

Those images were taken 3/30/2010. You are better off using the images from 2008.

You might want to check out Bing (Microsoft) Maps - it appears to be using a different set of data. There's also an interesting feature that lets you rotate your POV; here's what I got when I was looking for Willy B:
