Any recommendations for new climbing shoes, i'm using mad rock conflicts now and i'm looking for something a tad better with around the same ware rate. I mostly gym climb but i go out whenever i can. I'm looking at La Sportivas.

-thanks

It sort of depends on what you want to be doing. I've owned a few pairs of La Sportivas and my favorite so far are the Miura VS for an overall climbing shoe. The are aggressive enough for hard bouldering but if you size them correctly they will break in well for a day of sport climbing. If you're mostly in the gym though I don't think you want to spend that much money. Gear X has the La Sportiva Cobras on sale and I have heard they perform very well, in addition to being slip-ons which are great for in the gym. I would also consider the Scarpa Instinct S, which has a similar build to the Solutions but in a slip-on.

I have had the la sportiva cobras for a year now and love them, very comfortable yet aggressive shoe for bouldering, gym and sport. love the sportivas!!

I have the five ten galileos and they have performed well enough for me to resole them twice. I have been using them mostly on trad and sport climbing but have used them without a problem on bouldering and smaller stuff, great shoe.
