Is this still in effect? I would assume so. Does this still affect access to KY77 and Nada tunnel? Lookin' to get over to Funk Rock & perhaps Long Wall this weekend.

As of last weekend yes. Nada was still shutdown, visibility on the highway was like 25' in some spots. I think it rained down there today so maybe that helped.

FYI, since the out of control campfire (built illegally) set much of the Auxier Ridge region on fire, the park system has raised the fine from $75 to $500 with a mandatory federal court appearance and up to 6 months in federal prison.

Also, a $1000 reward has been set for any information leading to the arrest of the culprits who started the fire.

Also additional back fires and another natural fire have caused the situation to spread and remain closed ( as of yesterday I read).

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
